We recommend high quality 330ml cans for overseas shipping but can also provide 330ml, 500ml, 568ml and 750ml bottles, as well as one-way KeyKegs.

Why we recommend craft beer in cans

As well as being “on-trend”, cans have a number of advantages over the more traditional bottles, both practically and in terms of product freshness.

Advances in technology mean beer no longer tastes like the can it comes out of, thanks to thin aluminium and a liquid polymer lining which means the beer never actually comes into contact with the metal.

Cans are lightweight and pack tightly into containers – making them by far the most economical way to ship, distribute and store craft beer.

Hops in beer deteriorate when they come into contact with light – the reason why most beer bottles are brown. Cans eliminate this risk, so the beer tastes better and lasts longer on the shelf.

Retailers like cans too. They look good on shelves and are easy to stack. Plus the aluminium is 70% recycled – which makes cans more ‘green’ than glass bottles.

You can take cans to the beach or park easily. And they’re light, so you’re more likely to carry a can home and dispose of it properly.

Cans don’t break – they’re far better for an active lifestyle than bottles and more likely to survive the export journey intact. And best of all, you can fit loads in the fridge!
